The lack of political will
I'm part of a research group that is currently about to launch a big intervention study. The road up to this point has been bumpy and we have encountered a lot of problems with lack of political will and corruption. There is a lot of talking about the MDGs and how to reach them, but I lack a discussion on how to create the political will. Is it all a lot of talking and promising and then nothing happens? What are your experiences? Do you have any similar stories when it comes to organixing research and if so how have you dealt with it?

Implementation research
All the talk about MDGs and how to reach them and then we know all the interventions and efforts needed, but is there any research on how to implement this knowledge? I have found the study from Nepal by Manandhar et al, but other than that I think research is more about the intervenitons as such than about how we get them to be realized.
